Lady factory supervisor(3Nos) Required for An ISO9001-2008 Printing ink factory - Rupa Colour Inks., Sriperumbudur Main purposes of role: • To assist in the supervision and development of employees within a designated section and to ensure quality products are manufactured and/or services supplied • To assist in the supervision of other sections within County Enterprises, as required • To be responsible for low batch production (eg specials) Key Accountabilities: • To manage the section on behalf of, or in the absence of, the Production Manager, as directed • To assist in the management of all Health & Safety requirements within the section, as directed by the Production Manager • To assist with all technical requirements within the section/factory • To ensure effective and efficient production methods are employed • To ensure customer quality standards and specifications are met (eg to British Standards) • To monitor, record and contribute to the development of factory employees and ensure on-going training and development is incorporated into individual training plans • To contribute to employee development plan reviews led by the Employment Development Manager, and other plans as required, in line with Jobcentre Plus requirements, as directed • To assist the Employment Development Team in developing strategies to move employees into mainstream employment with support, as required • To input data on to the computer system, as required • To ensure all necessary administration is completed eg route cards, employee reports, attendance information & induction programmes • To assist in organising transport for deliveries and pick-ups • To maintain stock records, as appropriate • To open/secure the factory premises and act as keyholder • To contribute to assessments for work preparation or any similar training or assessment programme County Enterprises may be involved with from time to time • To contribute to the marketing strategy, as requested by the Production Manager • To develop new products/services in conjunction with other team members • To assist with supplier purchases • To assist at promotional events, as required • To make site visits, as requested • To operate a comprehensive customer care policy • To assist in keeping an inventory of plant and machinery etc • To ensure compliance with Jobcentre Plus requirements as directed • To attend First Aid training, act as on-site First Aider and maintain knowledge as appropriate Other duties: • To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities and encourage and support staff in their development and training. • To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job. • To undertake health and safety duties commensurate with the post and/or as detailed in the Directorate’s Health and Safety Policy.
