• To lead and coordinate large, cross-functional technical initiatives. • Well-organized, technically-oriented, and a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to lead, prioritize and generate high quality deliverables, and also effectively facilitate communications between teams while also considering the big picture. • Working in close coordination with technical leadership, the Senior Technical Program Manager will also be expected to understand, illustrate, and document highly technical systems, and to document scope, establish integrated schedules, assess and communicate program progress and risk, and to create resource estimates. • Work with engineering and project management professionals across key stakeholders to identify and manage dependencies and to keep communication channels open on high visibility programs. • Identify areas of risk and opportunity, manage conflicts, and collaboratively create mutually acceptable solutions. • Develop, edit, maintain, and publish program management documentation including, scope definitions, schedules, risk management reports and resource estimates for various initiatives. • Communicate program status, decisions, actions, as well as risk areas and mitigation plans. • Develop strong partnerships with program stakeholders across the organization. • Demonstrated ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly. • Proven leadership, organization, and planning skills. • Proven ability to deliver large cross-functional strategic initiatives. • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work effectively and professionally across a wide range of constituencies. • Internet or software engineering industry experience is strongly preferred. • Demonstrated ability to work independently under tight deadlines while responding to changing business and technical conditions. • Experience with both waterfall and agile software development methodologies. • Project Management Institute or equivalent certification in an applicable discipline is a plus. • Experience with industry standard SDLC tools, including Confluence and Jira, is a plus. ...
